Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Finitu, including finitu.app, the Finitu mobile apps, and the Finitu API (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use Finitu on behalf of an organization, you agree to them for that organization and confirm you have authority to do so.

1. Accounts

You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Account owners and admins control who has access to their account and what each user can see and do.

2. Free Trial and Subscriptions

New accounts start with a 60-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. To keep using Finitu after the trial, choose a paid plan. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis, as shown on our pricing page, and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with notice before your next renewal.

3. Your Data

You own the content your team puts into Finitu, including tasks, projects, checklists, photos, time entries, and location records ("Customer Data"). You give us permission to host, process, and display Customer Data only as needed to provide and improve the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

4. Location Features

GPS location and QR code check-ins are optional. If your organization turns them on, your organization is responsible for telling its team members how location is used, getting any consent the law requires, and complying with laws that apply to collecting location information in your state.

Finitu records time and location on tasks to help teams plan and track work. It is not a payroll or timekeeping system of record, and you should not rely on it to calculate wages.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to break the law or violate anyone's rights, including privacy rights.
• Track anyone's location without the notice and consent the law requires.
• Upload malware or content you do not have the right to share.
• Try to access other customers' data or get around security or usage limits.
• Overload, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.
• Resell the Service without our written permission.

6. API and Integrations

If you use the Finitu API or webhooks, keep your API keys secret and follow our API documentation. Data you send to third-party tools through webhooks or the API is governed by those tools' own terms.

7. Availability and Changes

We work to keep Finitu available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we remove a feature that is material to your paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

8. Ending Your Use

You can stop using Finitu and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms, do not pay, or use the Service in a way that could harm us or other customers. When an account is deleted, its Customer Data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. GPS locations come from your devices and may be inaccurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Finitu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the date at the top and let account owners know by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Finitu after that means you accept the updated terms.
