How does Finitu show who has capacity?
Every task has an owner and a status on the board, and time tracking reports break down hours by person, project, and day. Together they show who is already busy before you assign more work.
Do I have to track time on every task?
No. Timers are optional. Use them on the tasks where you want to know how long work takes, and skip them everywhere else.
Does Finitu track location all day, or only at check-in?
Only while someone is checked in. Location is recorded when a person checks in or starts a task timer and when they check out. If your account has location tracking turned on, Finitu also records location periodically while that check-in is active, and it stops at check-out. Admins can turn ongoing tracking off for the whole account.
Who can see time and location data?
Each person can see their own time entries. Admins on your account can see time and location data for everyone on that account. No one outside your account can see it.
Is GPS or QR required?
No, both are optional. You can use Finitu as a Kanban board with time tracking and never print a QR code. If GPS is off or unavailable, check-ins still work and are saved without a location.
